Helping The Blind

Meet Panashe

Meet Panashe Taodzeri, a 24-year-old woman who has overcome many challenges in her life. Panashe was born sighted, but she lost her vision when she was about 10 or 11 months old. She underwent an operation at the age of 4, but it was unsuccessful. Since then, she has been surviving by begging in the streets of Kadoma, Zimbabwe. Panashe is not alone in her struggle. She has a friend who helps her walk properly in the street. She also has a husband who is blind and a child who is 1 year and 4 months old. Panashe and her family live in a rented room, but they have difficulty paying the rent and buying food. Despite her hardships, Panashe has not given up on her dreams. She attended school at Jairos Jiri, a special school for children with disabilities. She completed her exams, but she could not afford to collect her results. Her wish is to get her results and pursue a career as a teacher at Mutare Teachers College. She believes that education is the key to improving her life. However, Panashe faces many obstacles in achieving her goals. She and her husband are often abused and ill-treated by people in the street. They also lack the financial support and guidance they need to enroll in college and find a stable job. That is why we are sharing Panashe's story with you today. We are appealing to anyone who is touched by her story to help us assist her and her family. Your donation can make a difference in their lives. You can help them pay their rent, buy food, collect their results, and apply for college. You can help them break free from poverty and discrimination. You can help them fulfill their potential and live with dignity. Please join us in supporting Panashe and her family. Together, we can make their dreams come true.
